A note on our cushions
Some of our cushion covers are individually printed using traditional methods. This means no two pieces are ever identical.
Small variations in ink distribution, pressure marks, and tonal differences are an inherent part of the hand-block style of printing — they are the fingerprints of the maker, not flaws.
These characteristics are what distinguish a genuinely hand produced piece from 100% machine-made alternatives, and we celebrate them as part of each cover's individual character.

CERAMICS
Many of our ceramics are either handmade or handfinished, once produced. Ceramics can have the occasional dimple or pimple in the glaze which is part of the finishing process - this is entirely normal.
Additionally, an item that is mould made will have a join line. Some join lines are more visible than others but again this is entirely normal. It is the method of production that enables us to find great looking pieces that we can offer at great prices.

Such items maybe our handthrown lamp bases made from ceramic, cement or stone - pots, vases and ornaments made from similar materials or it could be twig hearts, wicker/willow hearts or kubu and rattan products. Blemishes can and do occur but we regard this as normal given the nature of the material the item is created from.
