1. Important Information

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using our website or placing an order.

By purchasing products from, or using the services of, Cowshed Interiors Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

2. Our Products & Services

Cowshed Interiors Limited provides the facility to browse, order and purchase home interiors products online.

We take care to ensure that all product descriptions, specifications and images are as accurate and representative as possible. However, as many of our items are handmade or hand-finished, natural variations in colour, texture, finish and size may occur. These are not defects but part of the character of artisan-made pieces.

Handmade & Natural Variations

Some items may show:

  • Minor surface marks

  • Texture variation

  • Natural imperfections

  • Size tolerance of up to ±5%

This may apply to, but is not limited to:

  • Hand-thrown ceramic, cement or stone lamp bases

  • Pots, vases and decorative vessels

  • Wicker, willow, kubu and rattan products

  • Twig and natural fibre decorations

These characteristics are considered normal and do not render an item faulty. Where an imperfection materially affects the usability of an item, we will of course arrange a replacement or suitable remedy.

If you are unsure about any aspect of a product, we strongly encourage you to contact us before purchasing.

3. Pricing, Payment & Offers

Unless a “Reserve” option is clearly shown at checkout, payment is taken in full at the time an order is placed.

From time to time we may run promotional offers, including discounts or free delivery, either on our website or via third-party platforms.
Please note:

  • Only one offer may be used per order

  • Offers cannot be combined

  • Offers are time-limited and subject to availability

While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we reserve the right to correct pricing or content errors. Information on this website is provided on an “as is” basis and does not affect your statutory rights.

4. Delivery, Returns & Collections

Our delivery, returns and collection policies are designed to be fair, transparent and compliant with UK consumer law.

Deliveries Left in a “Safe Place” or With a Neighbour

If you request delivery to be left:

  • In a safe place

  • With a neighbour

  • Or without a signature

—including via courier apps, tracking links, delivery instructions or direct contact—delivery is deemed complete once the courier records the item as delivered.

Once delivery has been completed as requested:

  • Responsibility for the parcel passes to you

  • We are not liable for loss, theft or damage after delivery is marked complete

  • We are unable to refund or replace items lost or damaged in these circumstances

If you prefer not to accept this responsibility, please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery or select a delivery service requiring a signature.

5. Warranty & Liability

Our products are supplied as described, without additional warranties beyond those required by law.

In line with our Delivery & Returns policy:

  • Any defects or discrepancies must be reported immediately upon receipt

  • Items must be inspected within the stated inspection period

We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use or inability to use our products.

Conduct & Communications

We expect all communication to be respectful. Abusive, threatening or coercive behaviour—including the use or threat of negative reviews as leverage—is unacceptable.
We reserve the right to respond to such conduct through appropriate legal channels where necessary.

6. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party providers to support website functionality, payments, delivery and communications.

We do not control these third parties and accept no liability for their services. Their own terms and policies apply alongside ours. In the event of conflict, Cowshed Interiors Limited’s terms take precedence.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
By using our website or purchasing from us, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.

8. Join Our Herd – Membership Programme

8.1 Membership Benefits

A valid Join Our Herd membership entitles you to:

  • 15% off full-price products

  • An additional 15% off already-reduced items in Seconds and Last Chance

  • Complimentary access to our Interiors Finishing Service

  • Early access to new collections and collaborations

  • Priority access to seasonal offers

8.2 Membership Price & Duration

  • £75 for a 12-month membership

  • Membership expires automatically after 12 months

  • No automatic renewal unless stated otherwise

8.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time by notifying us in writing.

  • Cancel within 14 days, with no orders placed: full refund

  • If orders have been placed, cancellation may be possible if savings do not exceed £75

We reserve the right to amend or withdraw membership terms without prior notice.

9. Restocking & Administration Charge

As a small independent business, many of our items are limited in quantity.

If an order is cancelled after processing, we may apply an administration charge of up to 3% to cover handling and order reversal costs.
We will always advise you in advance where this applies.
