Can I cancel my order before delivery?

Items from stock

If you have a change of heart after placing an order that’s in stock, you can cancel it at any time before delivery. All you need to do is let us know by email as soon as possible.

Bespoke Items, Made to Order, Special Orders or Items Not in Stock.

If the item/s you ordered were not from stock, it’s likely we will have commissioned a supplier to make it/them especially for you and are therefore not subject to the Consumer Contracts Regulations. In this instance, cancellation requests are at the discretion of Cowshed Interiors and we may have to pass on any reasonable costs borne by the company (if your order was bespoke, made to order or special order you may be required to forfeit 25% of your total order value to cover costs borne by the company).

Damaged items

We hope that your purchase will arrive with as expected but in the unlikely event it does not please let us know immediately so that we may deal with organising a replacement as quickly as possible. Before dispatch of your item, we will have checked it twice, so if damage does occur it will also be easier for us to establish where it has occurred and improve our service to you.

Can I return my order?

The following returns policy is applicable to website and telephone orders only. In compliance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have a cooling off period, during which time you can cancel your order with us. The cooling off period starts the moment your place your order and up to 14 days from the day you receive your goods. Your cancellation must be sent to us within these 14 days in writing, either by letter or email.

If the goods are returned for any other reason than being defective, you will be required to arrange and pay for the cost of returning the goods to us. Alternatively we will collect the goods and reserve the right to charge you the direct cost of collection.

The product must be in its delivered form and must not have been tampered with in anyway; this includes any appropriate protective covering or packaging. Where applicable, it is advised that you use extra packaging so as to protect the original packaging and protect the product for its return journey. Once with us, the product will be inspected to ensure the product has not been tampered with in any way and is complete, at which point we will process your refund to you within 14 days using the same method as your original payment.

Bespoke Items, Made to Order, Special Orders

If the items ordered are categorised as Bespoke, Made to Order or Special Order, a commissioned supplier will produce your order to your specifications and therefore is not subject to the Consumer Contracts Regulations. If you wish to cancel an order in any of the above categories you may forfeit 25% of your order total at the discretion of Cowshed Interiors and may incur any reasonable costs borne by the company.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
