Painswick Jug Table Lamp - SECOND (Discount Applied)

One of our handmade signature lamp bases from Frezoli, our supplier in Holland.

Made by artisans with unique finishing techniques. All hand thrown, so no two will be identical. Infact, we have re-pictured this new batch after our recent delivery as we felt this batch looked a little more bulbous than before, particularly at the neck.

We have selected a colourway for all our hand thrown lamps. Hues of Cotswold stone make for a neutral blend that will work with your home interior.

This particular piece is listed as a second as the lamp does appear to lean slightly to one side. Images can be made available upon request. The lamp does feature a 360 degree pivot bulb holder which means you can still achieve a level looking lampshade, despite the slight lean. Available to purchase 'Base Only', the 50cm lampshade not included but we do have a full range of lampshades available to purchase separately.

Design

CERAMICS

Many of our ceramics are either handmade or handfinished, once produced. Ceramics can have the occasional dimple or pimple in the glaze which is part of the finishing process - this is entirely normal.

Additionally, an item that is mould made will have a join line. Some join lines are more visible than others but again this is entirely normal. It is the method of production that enables us to find great looking pieces that we can offer at great prices.

Again, if you have any questions please ask before purchase.

HANDMADE

Many of our products are either handmade or hand finished. Because of this, there may be the occasional imperfection as they are not manufactured by a machine.

We feel that these marks, features, points of interest etc will distinguish them from mass produced items and visualise them as the artisan produced products that they are.

If the imperfection is such that it renders the item unusable we will of course replace the item but when the area in question is very small or the aspect of concern is part and parcel of the natural makeup of the product, we would not consider it to be faulty.

Handmade items can have a size difference/tolerance of +/- 5%.

Such items maybe our handthrown lamp bases made from ceramic, cement or stone - pots, vases and ornaments made from similar materials or it could be twig hearts, wicker/willow hearts or kubu and rattan products. Blemishes can and do occur but we regard this as normal given the nature of the material the item is created from.

TABLE LAMPS

Many (not all) of our table lamps come with a bulb holder that sits in a 'ball joint'. This means that when your lamp arrives you may think it is broken! It is not, it simply needs adjusting and the purpose of this feature is to make sure you can have your lampshade sit perfectly level.

Product Finishes Can Vary

Product Finishes & Variations

Product finishes can vary slightly across our ranges depending on the date of manufacture and the production batch.

Items that may be affected include furniture, ceramics (coloured, glazed, natural or stone finishes), light fittings and lampshades.

With furniture and any products made from natural wood, variations are to be expected. Each piece of wood has its own unique tone and grain, meaning colour and texture may differ subtly from the images shown and from one item to the next. This also applies to any stained, treated or washed finishes.

We aim to be as transparent as possible, so if you have any questions or concerns about a product’s finish, please do get in touch before placing your order.

Ceramics

Many of our ceramics are handmade or hand-finished, giving each piece its own distinct character. You may notice the occasional small dimple or pimple in the glaze, or areas where the glaze does not fully cover the base material — these are part of the normal finishing process and not faults.

Items produced using moulds may also display a faint join line; the visibility of this can vary from piece to piece but is entirely normal. It’s this traditional method of production that allows us to offer beautiful, characterful ceramics at accessible prices.

We'd like to tell you a little about our packaging.

We use new boxes as much as we can but in some instances we do use the very best recycled boxes which we buy from a cardboard box recycling specialist.

We use reycled kraft to securely package and secure your items as best as possible to ensure that they arrive with you in the best possible condition.

For larger orders our recycled boxes with handles give your order the best chance and in the unlikely event you should which to return an item, these boxes will hopefully ensure a safe return to ourselves.
