Special Order Items
What is a special order?
Any item listed on the Cowshed Interiors website as a “special order” is not held as standard stock in our warehouse. It is called in from central stock specifically to fulfil your order.
Lead times
Our quoted lead time of 2–3 weeks is a realistic timeframe for special order items to arrive with us and then be dispatched.
Amendments & cancellations
Once a special order item has been placed and confirmed, it cannot be amended or cancelled.
Delivery for special orders
Special orders are normally a doorstep delivery as standard. In some circumstances we may be able to provide assistance with delivery to a downstairs room of choice – please ask before ordering so we can confirm availability and any additional cost.
Measuring your space
Please measure carefully before placing your order. Consider:
- The space where the item will sit
- Staircases and landings
- Doorways and hallways
- Any tight turns or narrow access points
You may need to manoeuvre your furniture through these areas, so it’s important to be confident it will fit.
Returning special order items
If, for any reason, you would like to return a Special Order item, please email our Customer Service team in the first instance and a member of the team will assist.
Unfortunately, a collection fee will be payable and a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the price of the item to cover our charges in returning it to the supplier.
