Wicker Lampshades

Ethical, sustainable, artisan hand made wicker shades in all shapes and sizes. Wicker shades give off a great light effect around the wall or room.

Due to the hand made nature of our wicker shades there may be very slight changes to the measurements but if so they will be limited.

Please note that all of our lampshades currently offered for sale as a 'lampshade only' purchase are for an E27 fitting.

This is the wide fitting bulb holder.

If you have an old style narrow bulb holder fitting you will need a reducer for our shade to sit and fit correctly.

Design

HANDMADE

Many of our products are either handmade or hand finished. Because of this, there may be the occasional imperfection as they are not manufactured by a machine.

We feel that these marks, features, points of interest etc will distinguish them from mass produced items and visualise them as the artisan produced products that they are.

If the imperfection is such that it renders the item unusable we will of course replace the item but when the area in question is very small or the aspect of concern is part and parcel of the natural makeup of the product, we would not consider it to be faulty.

Handmade items can have a size difference/tolerance of +/- 5%.

Such items maybe our handthrown lamp bases made from ceramic, cement or stone - pots, vases and ornaments made from similar materials or it could be twig hearts, wicker/willow hearts or kubu and rattan products. Blemishes can and do occur but we regard this as normal given the nature of the material the item is created from.

TABLE LAMPS

Many (not all) of our table lamps come with a bulb holder that sits in a 'ball joint'. This means that when your lamp arrives you may think it is broken! It is not, it simply needs adjusting and the purpose of this feature is to make sure you can have your lampshade sit perfectly level.

We'd like to tell you a little about our packaging.

We use new boxes as much as we can but in some instances we do use the very best recycled boxes which we buy from a cardboard box recycling specialist.

We use reycled kraft to securely package and secure your items as best as possible to ensure that they arrive with you in the best possible condition.

For larger orders our recycled boxes with handles give your order the best chance and in the unlikely event you should which to return an item, these boxes will hopefully ensure a safe return to ourselves.
