A Personal Note
I wanted to contact you to update you on the ongoing delays in the courier partner network that continue to impact the delivery service of ALL online retailers.
We currently use DPD and Fedex. Both are experiencing difficulties and demand beyond their expectations.
This is due to the follow on from Black Friday and the impact of the Royal Mail strikes, which means that any order you place, with any supplier, may take longer than expected to be delivered.
For our part, if there is anything we can assist with and you are thinking of ordering, we would urge you to do so sooner rather than later if you are hoping to receive it before Christmas.
We all understand the frustration and can only apologise. We pride ourselves on a fairly quick turnaround and are disappointed that you may receive a less than excellent service from us, especially at this important time of year.
We are still dispatching at around 2 days from order.
We have set our own recommended 'cut off' for pre Christmas deliveries at Monday 19 December, to allow for any possible delays. We will of course continue to send out orders up to 23 December and also between Christmas and New Year.
